Shipping Policy

At Carve & Burn Designs, Inc., every order is handcrafted with care in our Miami, Florida workshop. Because many of our products are personalized, each order is made specifically for you after your purchase.
Our goal is to keep you informed throughout the process while setting clear expectations for production, shipping, and delivery.
Your Order Timeline
Most personalized orders follow this process:
1. Order Placed
Your order is received and reviewed by our team.
2. Design Proof Sent, When Applicable
If your order requires approval, we typically send a design proof within 1 business day of purchase.
3. Customer Approval
Production does not begin until your design proof and all required order details have been approved.
4. Production Begins
After design approval, most standard personalized orders are completed within 1–3 business days.
5. Order Ships or Is Ready for Pickup
Once your order is complete, you will receive shipping tracking information or a local pickup notification.
6. Delivery
Delivery time depends on the shipping method selected at checkout and the carrier’s transit schedule.
Design Proofs
When a design proof is required, we typically send it within 1 business day after your order is placed.
Please review your proof carefully, including:
- Names
- Dates
- Initials
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Fonts
- Artwork placement
- Product selection
- Quantities
Production cannot begin until all required approvals, artwork, and order details have been received.
Delays in providing requested information or approving a proof will delay production and delivery.
Carve & Burn is not responsible for errors that were submitted by the customer or approved in writing by the customer.
Orders Waiting for Approval
If we do not receive design approval or required order information within 30 days of sending your design proof or request, your order may be placed on hold until we hear from you.
If materials have already been ordered, custom work has begun, or production has started, cancellation or refunds may not be available.
Production Times
After your design has been approved, most standard personalized orders are completed within 1–3 business days.
Production times may vary for:
- Large corporate orders
- Bulk purchases
- Custom-designed projects
- Live event engraving
- Holiday orders
- Orders requiring special materials
- Orders requiring additional customer approval
If your order requires additional production time, we will do our best to keep you informed.
Need It By a Certain Date?
If your order is needed for a birthday, wedding, corporate event, holiday, graduation, retirement, or other special occasion, please contact us before placing your order.
We will gladly review your timeline and let you know whether we can reasonably meet your requested date.
While we always do our best to accommodate event deadlines, Carve & Burn cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date unless confirmed by us in writing.
We recommend placing holiday and event orders as early as possible to avoid production delays and carrier delays outside of our control.
Rush Orders
Rush production may be available for select orders depending on our production schedule.
Rush orders are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may require an additional fee.
Please contact us before placing your order to discuss rush availability.
Approval of rush production does not guarantee carrier delivery dates unless specifically confirmed by us in writing.
Shipping Methods
We ship throughout the United States from our workshop in Miami, Florida.
Available shipping options are displayed during checkout and may include:
- Standard Shipping
- Expedited Shipping
- Express Shipping
- Free Local Pickup in Miami
Shipping availability may vary depending on your destination and the products in your order.
Shipping Transit Times
Estimated delivery times after production are generally:
Standard Shipping: Approximately 3–5 business days
Expedited Shipping: Approximately 2–3 business days
Express Shipping: Carrier estimates displayed at checkout
These are estimated transit times and are not guaranteed.
Expedited Shipping
Choosing expedited shipping speeds up the carrier’s delivery time only.
It does not reduce design proof time, customer approval time, or production time.
All personalized products must still be designed, approved, engraved, printed, inspected, and packaged before they ship.
Local Pickup
Free local pickup is available at our Miami workshop.

Please wait for your pickup confirmation before arriving.
Packaging & Gift Giving
Every Carve & Burn order is inspected and carefully packaged before leaving our workshop.
Many of our products are suitable for gift giving, but product packaging may vary depending on the manufacturer, product type, availability, and shipping method.
If you are sending your order directly as a gift, please make sure the shipping address and recipient information are entered correctly before completing your purchase.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.
Tracking updates are provided by the shipping carrier.
Please allow time for tracking information to update after the shipping label is created.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.
Please carefully review your shipping address before completing your order.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, Carve & Burn is not responsible for delayed, lost, returned, or misdelivered packages.
If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.
Address Changes
If you need to update your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us immediately.
We will do our best to update the address before the order ships, but address changes are not guaranteed once a shipping label has been created or the package has been handed to the carrier.
Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is refused by the recipient or returned to us because of an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer, original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Additional shipping charges may be required before the order can be reshipped.
If the customer chooses not to have the package reshipped, any refund or credit will be subject to our Refund & Return Policy.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a package has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer.
If tracking shows “Delivered” but you cannot locate your package, we recommend:
- Checking with neighbors
- Checking with your building manager, front desk, or mailroom
- Looking around your property
- Contacting the shipping carrier directly
Whenever possible, we will assist you with carrier claim information, but Carve & Burn is not responsible for stolen packages or packages marked as delivered by the carrier.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged product
- Photos of the shipping box
- Photos of the packaging materials
This information helps us review the issue and, when applicable, file a claim with the carrier.
Shipping Delays
We work hard to ship every order on time, but delivery delays may occur that are outside of our control.
Carve & Burn is not responsible for delays caused by:
- USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other carriers
- Weather events
- Hurricanes or tropical storms
- Power outages
- High holiday shipping volume
- Customs inspections
- Carrier staffing shortages
- Transportation disruptions
- Mechanical failures
- Events outside our reasonable control
Corporate, School, Nonprofit & Bulk Orders
Production and shipping timelines for corporate, school, nonprofit, promotional, fundraising, event, and bulk orders are quoted individually.
Changes to artwork, quantities, personalization, approval dates, or shipping details may affect the production schedule and delivery timeline.
Custom bulk orders are not guaranteed for delivery by a specific date unless confirmed by Carve & Burn in writing.
Multiple Shipments
Some orders may ship in multiple packages depending on product size, availability, customization requirements, or shipping carrier restrictions.
If your order ships in multiple packages, tracking information may be provided separately.
International Shipping
At this time, Carve & Burn primarily ships within the United States.
If you are located outside the United States and would like to place an order, please contact us before purchasing. International shipping may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis when available.
Customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, taxes, or import charges that may apply.
Customer Responsibilities
By placing an order, you agree that it is your responsibility to:
- Review all order details before completing your purchase.
- Provide accurate personalization information.
- Provide accurate shipping information.
- Review and approve design proofs carefully.
- Provide requested artwork or information in a timely manner.
- Monitor tracking information after shipment.
- Inspect your order promptly upon delivery.
- Contact us within the timeframes outlined in our policies if an issue arises.
Force Majeure
Carve & Burn is not responsible for delays or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, hurricanes, floods, fires, power outages, labor disputes, supplier shortages, government actions, transportation interruptions, pandemics, carrier disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
